Very interesting concept, i like the fact it resembles the gallery app behavior

@Michele. When thought about this mockup i'm oriented it to the gallery. In my opinion all standart application must have similar behaviors and look similar too.

Nice!

+ sunrise, sunset
+ weather in status bar

Also you can watch how made Yandex.Weather on android, it changes background color according to weather. (hot - red background, cold - blue, rainy - water bubbles. etc..).

@MR. XXX Heh =) Yandex.Weather its second application on which i was oriented. In GIMP i made different colours in background, which related from temperature.
I will continue to work on this mockup, later.

@MR. XXX Sorry, what do you mean, when you wrote: " weather in status bar" ?

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 3 from 1 year ago

Changes backgrounds according to temperature- amazing! Good job guys ;)

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 5 from 1 year ago

@Sergey like in ubuntu in top bar - weather indicator.

Good job, Sergey. One note though: I found your first mockup without the sticky notes much more readable, and I find that the notes now somewhat clutter the design.

Do you think it might be possible to move the notes around so that they are not on top of the visual elements of the mockup, or perhaps remove them and add the notes in the mockup's description?

Keep up the good work!

Most interesting mockup of all I have seen for Ubuntu Phone Core! I hope we will see it on Ubuntu Phone when he will be downloadable!

@MR. XXX I'm added weather indicator in top panel, if i understand you correctly.

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 8 from 1 year ago

MR. XXX yes, it what I wanted :)

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 8 from 1 year ago

Nice design concept. If all apps behaved in the same manor, Ubuntu Phone OS will be branded easy to operate. Very human like a++++

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 8 from 1 year ago

On the panel with today's weather I would suggest not to use the word "Today".

It would be nicer to place the date on the upper right or under the city name (using a litlle smaller font). And next to the sun image just place a short "Sunny" form.

I would prefer an option to turn off the indicator.

Sergey

Sergey replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 8 from 1 year ago

@Mitu, You are right, when i removed word "Today" i got some free space in right region.
I added date under the temperature.
I added option to switch off\on weather indicator: https://ubuntu.mybalsamiq.com/projects/ubuntuphonecoreapps/Weather+App+-+settings

Good concept, simple to use and understand. For the top bar indicator, what do you think in putting only the current temperature?

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

If the clock, tasks, calendar and alarms, were all brought into a time-line chart, then the weather also could be mapped over the day periods of the time-line chart.

Sergey

Sergey replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

@Homero I think it need option to configure information in indicator, becouse one user want information about temperature, but second user want only information about weather(sun, rain, etc)

Sergey

Sergey replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

@e8hffff we can make many different charts in real App, but it's only concept

Homero

Homero replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

@Sergey its a good idea, that way the user can choose what better suits for himself. BTW, this mockup is almost finished, congratulations for the idea!

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

Is there a way to see the weather in an hourly format?
I would also prefer to see radar in place of the graph on the bottom.

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

Cool, i love ubuntu! <3

Guest replied 1 year ago , re: Sergey's Version 11 from 1 year ago

Nice Idea
