Maybe a list view for the coming events? Different Calenders? Birthday, Private, Business, Sportsteam, GoogleCalender,... Sync option to sync with Ubuntu/Ubuntu One? Go to Today. Only to think about it.
I don't think we should need to swipe to get to the add/day/week/month menu, as that is a very frequent action. It should already be presented to the user upon entering.

You can click free time to add event. You can long-click month/week to go to month/week view. If you speak about that bottom menu should always be visible, ubuntu phone won't have any menu on screen, only swype menus. I try to think about other ways to change views.

I don't have balsamiq account. I think day view can look like this:

@MR. XXX i believe users would be confused by the arrangement of the circles: they look more like minutes/hours than 00-12/12-24 hours

I guess we were doing our wire frames in parallel :)
I've added my design next to yours. We can probably take ideas from each others design.

OH sorry, I wanted only to add design to the bottom of page, I don't know how it's changed on top :(

In Dayview the Design with the "Dateicons" are very cool. Swipe right or left to change day.
In Dateview i would go to show a picture of datemember and an option for routing to date (Navi).

@hitaisin: I promoted your mockup because it was so good. No need to be sorry, be proud.
